stonebro: That just stumps me completely, that a digital product can ever achieve a sold-out status. Why do they need the keys anyway when the product is sold through Steam?

One word: licenses. Though companies working over direct distribution nowadays should be so flexible to handle such a situation on the get-go.
The REALLY ridiculous part is, that Prey isn't in the current top sellers chart. Heck it even got beaten by Space Siege....

Siannah: Space Siege....

Who purchased that game? Everyone who buys that game should be blacklisted.

It was in the top twenty, but not very high. It probably has been taken out when it wasn't available anymore.

I admit I purchased a physical copy when I saw it in a bargain bin for ~$6.00 USD (Not knowing how bad it was). Installed it and tried playing it for about 10 minutes. I think I found my next white elephant gift. I feel sorry for anyone that buys it on Steam, they won't even get a coaster out of the deal.

Looks like they've removed it altogether. It flying high in the chart before it was removed.

From the Steam store page...
"Our sale on Prey was so popular we ran out of keys!! If we can get more, we'll try to bring this deal back. In the meantime, 2K Games has added BioShock to the set of daily deals on Steam, at 75% OFF today only. Happy holidays!"

Yeah, I noticed that, but it doesn't explain why it was removed from the sales chart. Only why it was removed from sale.

Because they don't want people looking at the charts, thinking the game's there available for purchase, and then discovering it's not.

taczillabr: All DLCs are included in Burnout Paradise on Steam? Anyone bought and played it for hours? Is it a boring need for speed on an open world, or what?

There is only the car DLC available for Burnout Paradise and you have to buy directly in game. It's all really overpriced for what you get too. And, you will not be seeing any of the decent DLC such as Big Surf Island or Cops and Robbers. The developers have decided not to bother bringing that to the PC -- they have in fact, ceased all PC support.
As for the actual game, it's fun for a while but the world is far too small with way too many restrictions. Personally, I found Fuel to be far more enjoyable.

Games without prices, and those that are regionally restricted, are not displayed on the charts -- it's pretty much down to how they scripted the pages.

Now the game feels less fun. No Cops and Robbers DLC? No DLC whatsoever apart from the one on the game's store? Fail.
I'd probably be better off borrowing a PS3 version.
yet again, the two games I want to buy aren't available for me. How do they manage it!
But it sounds like prey is sold out anyway, so oh well...

You can get the Ultimate Box for $30 or the regular game for $20 on the PSN, or get a disc copy.

What was the other game besides Prey that you wanted?

Yeah, a friend has it on the PS3 and he is (or at least he was, until he moved on to Uncharted 2) raving about the game, and since he probably doesn't play it anymore I figured I might borrow it. I hear great things about the seamless multiplayer, some sort of one-button thing and you're magically online?

Lemme guess, you wanted Prey and the Xcom set?
I HATE 2K Games. Them, Eidos and Rockstar seem to HATE MEXICO.

Online is very smooth, very easy to get into games with others. You can also switch between modes with others without ever leaving the world.
EDIT: Aaand Steam just kicked me off not fifteen seconds on the client. Christmas overload, maybe?
