The wonderfully kind people at Sakari Indie have given me two Steam keys for the most recent version of Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood, a small third-person arena shooter based on the UNITY engine that has a Battlefield Heroes-style cartoony aesthetic. It's the kind of bite-sized game you'd play in little chunks at a time. (No, I'm not calling it a "casual shooter".) - RPS did an article on the older, smaller version of the game here. The new 2.x.x version has more maps, more weapons, and basic BF/COD-style character customization.

The game is SteamPlay-enabled, so it's for the Mac and PC version. Contrary to the official Steam system requirements, I've actually been able to get this working reasonably well with the graphics turned down on a GMA 950 MacBook.

If you want to enter, just leave a humorous message describing what would happen with (a) you in the Foreign Legion, (b) an inflatable woman, and (c) a FAMAS. Random and irreverent entries (involving as many stupid memes as possible) are welcomed; winners will be selected at random...

I got this game when it was super cheap, and found it amusing. Then it was updated for the Summer sale, and loved the improvements.

There were still some annoying issues, but the game is very playable, and fun.

What he said! Its a really fun game. It has one of the more memorable "Holy S***" moments in a game.

No one would know if I were in the French Foreign Legion... they're always seen with their back to the battle... hastily retreating. Probably running back to their inflatable women.

Hey, I have this game! I never knew they updated it! This is a very nice game, people, it's surprisingly huge amounts of fun. I bought it back before it was cool 8D

edit: Oh, this isn't a new update, apparently. Ehh, still a good game. Worth a few good hours of fooling around!

My Entry WOULD be this: Paint.net up a pic of an inflatable woman with a FAMAS in the Foreign Legion. Unfortunately Paint.net and I are not speaking to each other at the moment, so if anyone else is a Paint.net (or photoshop etc) artiste I'm sure we would all be amused by what you could come up with around this concept!

I'd fuck the famas, shoot the doll, and eat the foreign legion.....no wait, that's not right.

Ok then i'd take the FAMAS and change a few letters and add some to make it FAMOUS and then i'd become famous be extension and the doll would turn into a supermodel and we'd ditch the foreign legion to go skiing in the swiss alps.

When I was in the french foreign legion, I had to use my inflatable doll in order to distract the guards, so that I could sneak into the commanders tent and google whatever the heck a FAMAS actually was, but then I took a narwhal to the knee and was saved by Adrian Brody who was out on his quest.


(Forcing memes into a post when you are sleep depraved is never a good thing. The Skyrim arrow to the knee joke has been so overused that people have started to just switch out arrow and/or knee with other random objects, so that one should be obvious. Adrian Brody's quest refers to this).

I was kicked out of Foreign Legion when I traded by trusty old FAMAS for an inflatable woman.
