Robert Frost lives, I see.
Got booted out from my Ironman EUIV game few days back coz the servers went down. Sad that Ironman is tied to Steam while the rest of the game is DRM-free thankfully.

Luisfius: Tuesday is steam maintenance day. That happens.
Lol, so Steam is now WoW?

Ha ha back in the good ol' days where you only had to write a few articulate paragraphs to become rich!

Try throwing out some poems nowadays and see how much $ you get. Better yet run your poem ideas through Google and see how many times they've already been written and just arranged differently. XD
Great. And I just lost hope that Bethesda will ever come to their minds about their distribution model and bought New Vegas...

Go watch almost any music video by 50 Cent, you'll realize that they appear to exist in abundance ;-)

Now you never have to make such a topic again. You're welcome.

Is that a bad thing? Or a good thing? ;)

I suppose it's a good thing for 50 Cent, and for whoever enjoys watching that kind of music video. Personally, I'm wholly indifferent.
Behold, the glorious future of cloud gaming'n shit.
Why don't people just use the Steam offline mode, which is supposed to be perfect in every conceivable way, definitely not ever having any two week triggers etc.?

Because then you can't get all the social aspects, like cards, achievements (do they trigger offline?) and stuff like that.

I think. Probably.
...and that's when I'm glad that Borderlands 2 discreetly tells me that the connexion to Steam has been lost... and restored (rinse and repeat) whitout kicking me out of the game! :)
Nope, but I see this thread was 14 hours ago while I wasn't on.

They don't. And you can't use ingame stuff and similar. But, when the network just crashes, Steam games work fine regardless, so that's all good.

You're kidding. I thought my Civ4 addiction was bad, but if they did not count my off-line time in the Hours played stat...that must at least be double....

Hi, I am a civ4 addict, it's been less than two hours since my last gaming session and I need a fix real bad. Where's my sponsor when I need him.
