Yeah, they don't include drm in the new PoP. And no dvd-check too.
Looks great, ¿no? no! . Here in Europe (Spain) the game came out at the highest price we seen in a PC Game: 60€...well, there's was one game that came too at the same price at the moment....do you know what game? Assasin's Creed...
But, well, they release Far Cry and Beyond Good and Evil, and the first Splinter Cell was Ok.

Damn, another spanish folk! Nite to see you ^___^
By the way, Splinter Cell saga (along with Rainbow Six) is the one I'm expecting to be 50%
Also, everybody should play Beyond Good and Evil

Its just such a shame that the next gen console and windows versions of double agent sucked so badly, the original xbox one was a FAR better game (if you exclude the cheap boss fight at the end)

Well, they did try to patch the CD check out of the digital download version of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. Unfortunately, they got caught using a crack from the warez group Reloaded to do it :-D

And while we may not ultimately miss much with it, it sets a dangerous precedent which I simply will not support.
Well written! It's unfortunate there was ever a need for it. :|

Except all the DRM, lack of support,... I don't "hate" Ubi, but I don't like the way they create games, because it's all dedicated to casual gamers.
For a good part of their games (Assasin's Creed, the last Prince of Persia...), they focused only on two main aspects:
- technical: I have nothing to say about graphics, animations, sounds, it's pretty much high quality
- the main character: I'm getting really tired of their *look how I am so cooool* characters, some sort of *bad boys* (even if he's from a past historical period, pretty lame...), moving like gods (unrealistic and over-used special moves)...
Once these two aspects have been "worked", then they choose a very basic gameplay which is often very very repetitive all along the game.
And I'm also getting tired of "interactive movies", I mean when I play, I like to control the moves of the character, not just click on one or two buttons and let the character do all the rest...
For me, Ubisoft games are just equivalent of bad US blockbuster movies: made for the masses, big budget, but empty of any interesting content... that's just my point of view...

I've never said I hate casual gamers......
In fact I'm pretty much a "casual gamer" myself now that I don't have many time to play.
What I hate is "only for casual gamers" developping.
Not so long ago, many games were playable by both hardcore gamers and casuals. Because the developpers took time to make different levels of difficulties, put secrets (areas and levels),... and developping an entire game, not just the two first levels..

Prince of "you won't see DLC because you have a computer"? ... No way. Lack of DRM was nice, but the moment I've heard this news, I was glad I didn't buy it yet
