Stardock has stated that their games are their own little fun pet projects. Their main source of income is from other revenue sources. For instance, Microsoft paid them to design different Windows GUI things and different vendors stick their software onto their computers.

But even so, I think they took a very heavy hit with Elemental. I know they had to lay off a bunch of people.

GOG and Stardock would be great buddies. I think they should join forces.
