CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference live tomorrow at 5:00 PM GMT

People say it is not spring until you can plant your foot upon twelve daisies. GOG.com has proven otherwise, and you knew it’s spring after eight daisies already: Legend of Grimrock, Treasure Adventure Game, Trine, The Whispered World, Machinarium, Wing Commander 4, Spacechem, and Darwinia. However, as many a sudden change takes place on a spring day, we’re about to reveal another four amazing daisies tomorrow during CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference.

The harvest of a whole year depends on what you sow in the springtime. And this year, oh boy, we’re into some serious sowing. During CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference we will:
* tell you what has changed on GOG.com in case you missed it
* offer a sneak peek at future GOG.com releases
* give you a special gift as a big, sweet “thank you” to our users

Remember that those who arrive to the spring first, drink the purest water-- or
Remember that spring won't come from one flower--we need plenty of you to watch the CD Projekt RED Group Spring Conference!

Thexder: Sorry, I just got here -- which "tomorrow" is that? Is it past, is it today, or is it tomorrow, meaning, today's tomorrow, where today is today, meaning now's today, meaning April 4th, I mean for today, and therefore 4/5, I mean, April 5th, not May 4th, for tomorrow?

Sheesh -- and people say I complicate things. Meaning...
As of this post, the original post says "Posted 10 hours ago", calculate from that time, perhaps?
How exactly would they give away a game online tho, do they just give us the CD-Key for it or something?. Srry i know, stupid question, but im newb.

Well it depends. They could make it free or lower its price to 0$ for a short amount of time. Then you just add it to your cart, but instead of having to enter your credit card info, it goes directly to the screen confirming your purchase and the game is added to your shelf. When running a contest or code grab, they post a redeemable code, which you enter and the game is added to your shelf.
So, Botanicula will be announced.

"Jakub Dvorsky tells IndieGames that it will also be sold on Steam, Mac App Store, GOG and many more sites. "

A... suggestion for gog. In the future, you should create a countdown timer - as the time zones can be confusing at times. Or perhaps a link to a "What time is it for me"-kind of site

You aren't too new, but I suppose you may not have experienced the community when a counter has been set up. GOG might want to try keeping the frenzy down a little bit :-) The forum goes absolutely nuts.
Is it GOG that ports the classic games to work properly on W7 ? Because I was just thinking that they should perhaps start porting them to android! Especially the older games!

Play some Might and Magic on the go :D

GOG doesn't port anything, what they do is apply DOSBox or ScummVM where applicable, no-CD patches and some other external fixes where needed, and - in some cases - absolutely nothing except shove the game into their own installer.

GOG only supplies installers for Windows and likely won't move to other platforms anytime soon, but since both DOSBox and ScummVM exist for Android, some of the games can be played on such devices if you do the job of copying the files yourself.

Yeah I know of DOSBox on android, I have Daggerfall installed on my phone!, but if that were ever to happen I would defiantly support GOG if something like this service came to android
big "thank you" is certainly Mass effect 3 for free :D ..no no, just kidding ;)

TheEnigmaticT: Yes. And we'll have the recorded version available for viewing almost immediately after the end of the presentation.

CowboyBebop: Thanks :) My connection sucks so I can't watch it live. I'll let it load on youtube (it will be on youtube right?) and then watch it.
YouTube will take a little while longer to get up, but yes; it will be there too eventually.

We've crashed the servers on a countdown before. I.T. has kindly asked that I refrain from using them willy-nilly.

This'll be my first conference. There's a very slight possibility that I might be able to watch it at work, but otherwise, I'll have to watch it later. Will I miss out on the thank-you gift if I don't watch it live?
Link? I just got in.
Never mind... I see it's tomorrow.
