Hug your Player 2!

Roses are blood-red,
Violets--mana-blue,
Love is in the air,
And some Wi-Fi too!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
You did remember get something nice for your Player 2, right? If not, don't fret! GOG.com has you covered. In our Cupid's Cupcakes promo you'll find three adventure games that involve romance, and one that tells the story of the most unconditional form of love that exists in this world. A dog's love for its master, that is. Each of these games will make a sweet last-minute Valentine's Day gift and their prices have been reduced by 60%!

Deponia is a gorgeous cinematic point-and-click adventure game that feels much like a Terry Pratchett novel and tells a story of an unlikely romance between a boy living in the junkyard and a girl who fell from the sky. Only $7.99!

Runaway 3: A Twist of Fate, an adventure game with movie-worthy plot, tons of humor and excellent visuals, in which a girl will go far to prove the innocence (and sanity) of her loved one. Only $7.99!

The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav, a beautifully drawn adventure game set in a gritty fantasy world where magic is scarce, and the love to a fairy is the only thing that keeps the character going. Only $7.99!

Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, the most British of Telltale's episodic point-and-click adventure games, in which dogs unconditional love saves his crazy master more than once. Only $7.99!

There you have it: Cupid's Cupcakes! But what's a virtual cupcake without a cybernetic cherry on top? Boy, do we have a cherry for you! You can get System Shock 2™, right now on GOG.com, for only $9.99! DRM-free, and with a high quality soundtrack. Now, that's love!
Nice promo. Tempted by The Dark Eye. I received SS2 for Valentine's Day(possibly one of the best Valentine's Day gifts I have ever received). I picked up Giana Sisters for her yesterday while it was on promo (cheap bastard -__-). Hopefully we'll get a chance to play some this weekend.
Now if only Runaway 2 were part of this, then I could complete that series.
I'm on the fence with Chains of Satinav. I'm not a huge adventure game fan, but it does look kind of good. Today has been a busy day though... System Shock 2 and bundles from Groupees, Indie Royale, and Indie Gala. I may be stretched to the limit.

This is a sweet promo... that will drift by GOG virtually unnoticed.

With SS2's release almost every GOGer will completely ignore their spouses/boyfriends/girlfriends for a few days so what chance does this promo have?

Edit: Just in case someone here wants to gift Giana Sisters to their significant other please contact me.

Not interested in these games. If I find I do have money to spend soon it'll be System Shock 2.
" Nice, you own all games from this promo."
What...no Leasure Suit Larry Special on Valentino's Day? How can this be? Looks like another "Laffer" for Larry!
What is GOG doing today? Every few hours another fantastic game, I can hardly resist. At first Giana Sisters for cheap 5$, then System Shock 2 (I won’t buy it now, but I’m happy with all the other ones here), and now I’m coming back home after a long day and evening, and there is the Valentine’s bundle with Deponia, which I thought I should gift to a friend of mine. Hm. Deal. :)
With Runaway 3 it looks like only the higher of the series/promo discount takes effect, with Runaway 3 getting the 60% promo discount and the other two games getting the 33% series discount. There is a discrepancy where the store page says the series is $26.77 because it doesn't take the promo discount into account, but it correctly costs $21.37 at the check out page.

After coming home to be ambush over the "Prezzies" the TV said I have to buy to really show my love, this looks like something nice, something for me.

How the hell are £15 roses and a box of chocolates worth more then 1000 "I love yous".
Sorry, I do not have Single Bitter Valentine Syndrome, I just hate this stupid holiday.

Actions speak louder than words? It's not necessarily roses and chocolates that are needed, but doing something for them can communicate your love better than repeating a phrase a bunch of times.

For me, sending someone a box of chocolates communicates that I wish they were fatter and had cavities.

Same page here, I do what I can to show my love all year round, I am not a bad boyfriend (I hope). Yet with all the pressure put on one day I did not do a thing for Valentines. Especially since everything is so much more expensive for one simple day.
So she searched my bags, my car and the entire house in search of what she believed she should receive for the day.
When I explained she could have a meal out any day next week all for her she just sulked that everyone else gets cards, chocolates and roses.

Marketing teams have special powers I really need to possess.

Depends on how delicious / high quality the meal is... try to give her a meal she'll never forget... *wink*
