I have idea for flat price commercial -

Restaurant - made by zones - USA Europe Asia
And them two video streams on one screen - peoples looks similar menus - but one in USD second in Euro. Ordering same naming food and than - in USA zone in 15 minites bring huge plate with lot of stuff - in Euro zone - bring small plate with very small pieces in two hours.

And can be additon of salt pepper - already in USA table and no one in Euro table.

And talking about regional partys - made there large Russian with many tables - low prices - and ONLY one officiant in Yellow/Red shirt - which works like he is SemiGod - and customers is dirt under his feet - he can not take order at all - and if somebody wants to call oficiant from other zone block that officiant entrance, losing orders when going to kitchen. Do noting when zone is full of customers - and more same things. Im sure that in Russia it will be 100% hit.

RafaelLopez: And, heh, "games don't need armor" is one of the best sentences ever. Not to mention the gamer thrashing the keyboard with his gauntlets and helmet... a new classic is born.
+1
And other version of regional restrictions - hitech pizzeria with online order system at every table - when in table with Russian style and huge banner LowPrice somebody try to make order they got message - Sorry call for Your local officiant - and button for it. Next - there is men in YellowRed - there is many lights or calls from tables - and he just reading newspaper - or talking by phone. When he came to customer he can take his order incorrectly or didnt take it at all. After taking orders he took old pizza from refrigerator or make new pizza didnt put there some ingridients - or make it didtn fully prepared or forget about in owen and bring it to customer. And there is some mans with same color uniform who didnt take orders - just block entrance to other zones.
yep, where is my cake ;) i must ask :)
These commercials have some amusing moments, but I find some of these comments like "best sentence ever" "One of the most coolest awesomest things ever" and the "facial expression are brilliant" to be totally baffling

You guys need to watch more stupid tv and movies and student films ...or something

No, we mean in its own area. About DRM and the like. Good touches...

The touches are OK I guess. *shrugs*
But good for gog, their commercials seem to be working for most people here so I guess I'll shut up now.

Well, you know how it is with fanboys. Some people would go "OMG SO FUNNY AND SO SO TRUE" even if the whole thing was just T in a hat saying "You know, I think DRM's kind of shitty".

Frankly, it's cringeworthy, and not really of the good kind, and the constant jabs at competition sound a lot like a fly buzzing around a cow feeling very smug. So, yeah.

Haha, exactly.
why is regional pricing such a big deal in digital distribution? everything is regionally priced. always has been. always will be. what makes digital games so special that you think they shouldn't be?

this is kinda true. the commercials are funny, and they do have a point, but i really think the constant jabs at other digital distributors are unnecessary, especially considering that they have a far greater market share than GoG does. you can campaign against DRM all you want but at the end of the day it's Gabe Newell who laughs all the way to the bank... that tells you that out there in the real world, DRM isn't nearly as critical a topic as GoG and some of the members here make it out to be.

Woud you perhaps felt better if GoG had hired proffesionals to do the ads and let the customers take the bill like the big companies?

At least gog did this filming and shooting themself and i dont think you woud have done better unless your educated in making comercials.

Quite honestly, I don't care. With the 90+ games on my GOG shelf, I'm clearly not the target group of the ads. I'm not sure who is.

Ah, the good old "first make something better and then criticise" argument. Still as pointless as ever.

Have you ever made a chair? I'm guessing not. If you see a chair that has one leg two centimetres shorter than the others, are you entitled to say it's a badly made chair or not?
Great commercials. Very funny.
Also.

Just saying.
Just watched all three commercials in a row for the first time and liked them. Well made with a very (obviously) modest budget. :) Interested to see what will happen tomorrow.
