Smannesman: Well that was exciting.
Nope not exciting. Not big. Not special AT ALL.
Yay? I mean... OK, it's a free game and that's always good, but... none of the games I wanted to buy are in bundles or on flash sale.
I love GOG and all, but people should be aware by now they tend to hype things out of all proportion.

It's a shame really, because when they eventually do have something to hype, noone will give a shit. It's like the boy who cried wolf.

'GOG' (though not the love of) can easily be replaced with the name of just about any company doing the good old marketing striptease.

GOG needs a major restructuring of their PR department. Their hype tends to exceed their reach, and I think having some people who know better in charge of day-to-day communication would really help. Anyone remember "mind-blowing May"?

I honestly thought the specific words BIG and EXCITING meant something here, plus they did a shoutout to us "old-timers". You're right that I and others should have known better.

EDIT: It would have been smart to hype SimCity 4.
