erchou: Would be awesome if they come, tho I wouldn't be interested in anything post Quake 3 (not sure if I would buy any of the Quake titles actually since I still own the originals).

I'd totally get Commander Keen and Doom tho ! Oh, and Wolf 3D.. what a classic :)

Foxhack: ... You can get those at Steam. They're basically the original games running in DOSBox, so you can just take the datafiles and use them on your own personal DOSBox configuration - you don't need Steam to run them at all.
Oh, I didnt know that. Well, I'll wait a bit to see if GOG gets them, but if there's a sale on Steam I might jump.

I'd tend to agree, liked the Quake games back in the day - but the true classics in my mind are Doom and Wolf3D, I'd jump all over those on GOG.

I absolutely loved their early games! Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D and Doom were all great. The first Quake was pretty good but I never cared for the sequels all that much. I agree it would be excellent if GOG could get the id catalog.
