Well, specifically Steven Peeler aka Shadow from Soldak Entertainment did - the guy who did Depths of Peril. I bought DoP direct from Soldak actually, but my BMT Micro link expired. So, I asked Steven if he could help me port my BMT "receipt" over to Impulse, seeing as to how Impulse also had DoP too.
Fast forward a few days, and he did all the work for me. He helped me port my game to Impulse, which means I can now download the game for as many times as I want to without having to worry about making a physical backup. I don't think the $9.90 I paid for DoP (got it at a discount price) even pays for this sort of service alone, let alone the game + service.
It's not just commendable, it's really something I feel I should do by spreadin the love on other forums. Thanks so much Steven. I urge you guys to check out Depths of Peril too, good game and with the kind of personalised service you get, it's hell worth it.
Yeah, Soldak is swell, even though I've never played any of their games, aside from a DoP demo. Great story.
I'm looking forward to Din's Curse with anticipation.

You don't get customer service like that anywhere else, really. It's great to hear about a company that really does strive to put its customers first like that.
Depths of Peril is indeed excellent. Highly recommended.
Steven is Another example why pc gaming is far from dead. In fact if you look at the figures it is steadily growing every year.
I started getting interested in Dop after reading this interview http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2008/06/17/depths-of-peril-steven-peeler-interview/
After downloading the demo and figuring out that at one point I was playing for more than 5 hours straight I obviously decided to buy the game and to send the good man an email about it.
An email which he in fact replied to personally.
Eat that EA.

If it will make you feel better you can purchase me a copy of the game through BMT and help Soldak out a little. :o)
