As you may already know, Corey and Lori Ann Cole have set out to get crowdfunding for a game called Rogue to Redemption that will hopefully start a series as glorious as their previous one.
To celebrate, I'm giving away one copy of the Quest for Glory series here on GOG.
For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of playing the Quest of Glory series yet, it is a unique adventure/RPG that is filled to the brim with humorous dialogue, puns and colourful characters, but also manages to tell a serious and engaging story.
Just as an example, here's a bit of a dialogue from the first game between a wizard and his familiar, a rodent of unusual size:
Fenrus (the rat): Erasmus is my familiar.
Erasmus: Isn't that the other way around?
Fenrus: Familiar is my Erasmus? Well, I've always found Erasmus to be overly familiar...
Erasmus: No, no. I mean aren't you MY familiar?
Fenrus: Tsk, tsk. All these years and you still don't know.
To enter the raffle, you have two choices:
-- if you have played the games, tell me about your favourite moment in the series.
-- if you haven't played the games or don't want to choose, make up a fictional game name that contains a pun (like "King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow").
The giveaway ends on All Hallows' Eve, 23:00 GMT. Winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
I'd rather you not enter if you are just looking for a game to trade away.
