I'm still waiting for that achievement patch so I can play it again. :(

Play Batman, then play Deus Ex HR (it doesn't hurt that you're playing it before, it's a prequel).

Play Batman and think OMG, this is what videogames are today!? Then play DX:HR and be again agast on the quality this medium what has been achieved since the times of early 3d graphics.

And then you can go back to every other game and find boring and bland because you played the best there is (indies excluded).

Mass Effect is great if a you are a Science Fiction nerd. The series is personally the games I waited for since Starflight 2. But YMMV.
