WARNING: EXTREME TONGUE IN CHEEK

I found myself mildly surprised to see someone actually asking how many Asians are on the forums. Personally, I thought it was funny, but the more I thought about it, the more it disagreed with me.

Isn't that one of the fundamental things about being online - the ability to discard race and creed? (Admittedly, we can't shake our cultural biases and/or influences and these DO seep through in our "persona" online but still, I'm sure you get what I mean.)

So.

How many vertically challenged people are there? I consider myself vertically challenged at 5' 11 and a half ". I keep banging my head on random "just a bit too low" things. It gets annoying, I'll tell you that, since I have tunnel vision and this doesn't just apply to the left or right, it applies to up and down too! I believe a perfect height would be around 5'9".

Anyone else have similar problems, both up or down? I'm intrigued.
I'm 5' 10"......where do we sign up for the support group?
Wha? I guess I am so small that the whole banging head against things becomes a non issue?

5' 3''. I am actually the tallest in my immediate family ... :]. Utterly no problems with that, however. Another fun fact is that I cover just under a meter per double step. [So useful for night navigation in the mountains!]. I take less steps then most taller people to cover 100 metres.

So you're the tallest in your family? I just LOVVVVVE the little people. :)
I'm 5'10" and I feel looked down upon...

By who? Andre the Giant?
at first I thought you were saying 5'11" was vertically challenged as in short, and I was going to call you crazy.

Then I saw you said 5'9" was the perfect height, so I will give you a high-five

*high-fives*
I'm about 5' 6", 5' 7" if you feel generous. I'm about average in my family, though my aunt is, oh, 5' 3"? Roughly a head shorter than I am, if I remember right.
I'm 2 metres tall, trust me I have learned to duck slightly when going through doorways
hmm, a lot of small people here. :)
I am 6'4" (I Hope this is right, 193cm).

Living in London was a challenge, always banged my head on the top floor of the busses, and the tubes were challenging too (can't even stand there).

Back in Germany, everything is much easier, as there are a lot of large people :)
I see giants. They are everywhere. They don't even know they are large.

I'm 159 cm. Small. Fast. Efficient.

I used to 6 foot tall bang on, but I think I've reached the age where you're supposed to start shrinking rather than grow any more!!
I'm 5'8 and I consider myself short :S

Go slam a few baskets Virama, you'll find yourself appreciating those extra (vertical) inches :P
