In Germany and France ;P

Well, at least this year, EA did not frag its customers that bad, except the DAI launch, a game that managed to sell less in its first month than the disaster that was DA2. 400k copies on 5 platforms (PC, PS3, PS4, XBox360, XBox One) in the first month shows a lot how fed up people are with what Bioware became. DA2 sold 450k copies on three platforms (PC, PS3 and XBox 360), while DAO sold around a million on two platfoms (PC and XBox360).

The NPD figures for the games.

No wonder I couldn't find it. :P
For some crazy reason, the ancient computer I'm forced to use now can't get through to order the free game from Origin, I'm guessing because I haven't been able to download and run the client, but the browser on the Wii U works to get it even though there's no way it could run a PC game the first place.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up.

Which as usual doesn't include any digital sales whatsoever. NPD numbers have been pretty worthless as any indicator where the PC is concerned for some time. Sure, there are still some that buy this stuff at retail - that is, if you can find a physical copy - but I'd wager that audience is tiny in comparison to us who buy digital only these days.

I don't need any plastic coasters, thank you very much. =P

I read those were UK numbers and worldwide it sold about a million, before PC is taken into account. That's a decent start. Still probably disappointing for EA given the development time and ambition, but it could break even with Origins if it holds strong at retail in December.

Weird, the first one doesn't even show when I search for it on origin.
I actually hope that DAI solves its problems. Like i said, it has a good story there and some interesting characters. Ignore the romance side and you will have a nice time.
