if you are suffering from any illness, from a cold to a broken arm this is the place to tell us all about it!

i myself am suffering from a head cold so bad i cannot leave my bed. its awesome!
Chronic pain in my knees, especially the right one, that has been going on for 7-8 years now... The disease is called Ossfald-{and_another_guy's_name_here} or something... It is not awesome!
Deterioration of the lower spine, S1 position (bit that joins spine to pelvis), painful to walk and hospital is pushing me to have an operation. Wont do it though at least I can still get about with a walking stick, op fails and could end up being paralysed from waist down.

Came from Step Father trying to break my back when I was 15 year old (nearly 39 now) and was in a bad car accident 2007 which hasnt helped as that has also damaged both tendons in my neck and upper spine.

Get by though :)
Asthma and severe hayfever that has got me rushed into hospital during the summer of four of the last seven years alone. Funnily enough, I get it worst when I'm in the UK, and not at all when I'm in the south of France. Has to do with the types of pollen in the air.

And I have borderline personality disorder, now more correctly known as emotionally unstable personality disorder.

Same here... got Asthma when I lived in London for 2 years.
I manages it to get nearly rid of it by drinking a bottle of "Hefeweizen Alkoholfrei" every evening. The incredients open up your lungs and you can breath much better... after 1 month doing this, I never had any breathing problems anymore :)
Got some tooth problems I need to take care of as I had some really nasty tooth pain a couple of days ago.

hate going to the dentist because they won't knock me out so I don't have to be present for the medieval torture they call dentistry. I really don't want to hear and feel someone drilling into my teeth.
I has severe bronchitis for 3 weeks not long ago but finally got over it.

I have had bad knees my whole life, I remember them clicking and hurting when I was in middle school.
Let's just leave it at that that I barely if ever can sleep for a full night anymore without breaks and this will remain for the rest of my life.
Winter ended and I did my first sprint run yesterday (kudos to those who can run outside in the winter... I can't... I get brain freeze and dizzy even with a warm hat).

I got greedy and did an entire hour instead of 40 minutes to warm up.

Legs muscle are a bit sore because of that.

Also, each time I do my first run of the season, I get itches all over like 15 minutes into my run and it's really uncomfortable for about 10 minutes. The itches are similar to when your legs get really cold and then you go back inside to warm them up.

Only happens on my first run of the season.

Meant to ask my doctor about it (out of curiosity more than anything else), but I keep forgetting.

Do you mean Osgood Schlatters, by any chance?
That's what ended my Gymanstics career 25 odd years ago.....

I'm finally recovering from my recent disaster.
I have a wound dressing this morning.
Hopefully dicharged completely by the end of next week.

What disaster, do I hear you ask?
Posted back at the end of February:

another diy disaster.

just moved house.
decided to lay flooring in the loft.
missed the screw and drilled through my hand.
swore and jumped up.
hit my head on roof support.
fell down and drilled through my leg.
honestly, it was somewhere between final destination and mr bean!
nicked the artery.
spent the morning in surgery.
spent the afternoon lying here fighting this bloody touchscreen.

diy - drilling into yourself - don't do it!!!!!!

Yeah basically, one day to much to drink (he was an alcoholic, drank between 3 and 4 litres a day) and my mother was really ill. Got home from work 30 mins early on this day. He thought I was skipping work and laid into me, bruised all my throat and fractured my cheek bone also from a kick in the face. Needless to say he got prosecuted for it shortly afterwards. My mother divorced him and he got locked up for six months. He died a few year ago and I did not attend the funeral.

He had knocked me down onto the floor and put my face on the side of a bed, then knee into my lower back and started pulling on my neck with his forearms bending me backwards. Still haunts to to this day at times.

I guess it has made me a better person for it, when my kids are acting up I would never think of laying a hand on them.

Life goes on though, get by. Thankfully I can still get about, only downside is I had to leave a decent high paid job last year in I.T as I cant stand for to long or sit in the same position for to long either.

Yea, that's the one... it freaking sucks.

Get better, by the way, and don't DIY again!
Hmm lets see mushroomed disc is flaring up. Lossing my marbles. Can barely sleep. Stomach cramps and loosing weight for some unknown reason. Few other things that i wont go into.

Think that covers it.

Get well soon everyone
I have a mild case of Scheuermann's disease and scoliosis. So my spine is slightly deform, which often causes back pain after physical activity.
Just minor stuff for me. I have a slight breathing disorder that I was born with, nothing serious, but my nose is not working quite as intended.

I also sometimes feel slight pain in my right foot. This is due to me injuring my foot badly about a year and 4 months ago.
