hedwards: Yeah, I was disappointed with the DRM and never bought it.

Wishbone: Probably not as disappointed as I was with the DRM after I bought it. I bought the Galactic Edition, and guess what? They forgot to add the CD keys from the Galactic Edition to the activation servers >:-(
Owch. Only reason I bought it was because they've replaced the old DRM with Steam-style DRM, which is tolerable enough for me.

(I wonder if PS3 games have DRM? I've yet to notice any.)

Yes yes they do... some games have phonehomes that require you to be connected and install limitations were just introduced... theres some other DRMs on the ps3 but you can look at them on scene sites...

That is pretty darn weird. And it seems a bit pointless, to boot.

It's probably designed to kill second-hand sales.

oh no for that they're including cards for DLC that make up half the content (B:AC for example you lose all the catwoman storyline if you buy used)

I bought Mass Effect 2 new instead of used for $5 more, to get what reputed to be $15 more content. I haven't actually found most of it yet, although I think I got a free ninja cyborg assassin person with no personality and a reasonably entertaining Mission Impossible tribute recruitment mission that lasted an hour. Not a bad game, just not sure where the content I paid for actually is.

umm you should have got about 10 pieces of DLC via the cerebus network (the hammerhead for example...)

Hmm. Must be in those emails I received. I read them but haven't had time to do anything about them yet, the main story's too interesting.

Actually, I had no idea there were vehicles, but apparently there are. Weird!
