Looks like something I'd buy, if it supported my OS.
Yeah I know but as said sound are blurry and not clear. It is not realistic yes but this is just a game and without sounds game would be not funny as it is.

It is for Windows Vista and Windows 7. Not XP compatible because of DirectX 10.

I know, that's why I can't buy it.

So i'll pass too, I'm still running XP (and very happy with it) and i have tons of games to finish... Too bad, this game seemed to be a very interesting change in the world of FPS.

acare84: I am a beta tester from the start and playing the game since September. Game is really fun and really different from other FPS games. Also fighting in space and making strategies is fun. Futuremark is really great company and in two months they added so much good content to game and will add so much content in future too. Game is so cheap because it is mp only go and buy it if your PC is good enought to run the game. BTW beta testers can buy the game for only $12. :D

Oh damn, I wish I had gotten in on beta sign ups. Ah well, nobody knows how this game will be like when it's RELEASED, so it's probably best to just wait.

how do the controls for the thruster work exactly? I'm having trouble seeing how they integrate the thrusters on top of standard movement? Or is standard movement completely out and all you have is directional look and different directions of push?
With clicking right mouse button in space you control your direction like Descent games (360 degree). And you have afterburner on your shoulder with it you can go fast. Also you can land meteors or other places and you can walk on them.

We are asking for guest passes on beta forums. I can give you one if Futuremark will do that and if you interested.

Looks like it has potential, but I too am going to wait for release, and probably a weekend sale.
i always wanted to play the zero gravity training from Ender's Game.
Can we go in feet first?

LASER TAG!
Funny you should mention the book, I just finished reading every single novel in the series in timeline order a few weeks ago. I'd love an indoor zero gravity map, maybe in the ISS? They've said something about battles in the ISS or something.
Heh. That is another reason why I intend to hold off for a bit. The Matrix Online was full of people say "Whoa" and "I know Kung Fu". This will be almost non-stop "The enemy gate is down" :p
Remember: the enemy's gate is DOWN.

About Ender's Game, there is this one, from the makers of Shadow Complex for XBLA. ;)

I liked Advent Rising, if only because it might very well be the last story Orson Scott Card ever worked on where the hero was not (at one point) a boy genius who saved the world by proving he was smarter than everyone (and, in general, ignoring all but the most basic of strategy).
Don't get me wrong, I loved Ender's Game (and enjoyed the Shadow books until Bean and Petra started boinking. That just seemed weird and creepy), but the man has run out of stories. Case in point: He did an (Ultimate) Iron Man comic. It was Ender's Game, with trace levels of alcohol and powered armor instead of spandex onesies.
Hopefully Empire will not involve children. At all. When Card avoids Children, he writes fun stories (The Worthing Saga, even if it was the percursor to his retelling of The Book of Mormon for Homecoming).
I can't comment really about the story, as i didn't read all the books and i know zero about Empire. :/
