Has anyone else experienced a very strange installation problem with this expansion from GG?

Shadowgrounds installed ok and Warrior Kings, which I purchased after Survivor installed ok but it just took over thirty minutes from the point of download completion for Survivor's installer to initiate and during that time and while installing, my computer has slowed down to crawl like all system resources are being used to initiate and install it.
