Shadow Warrior, Flying Wild Hog's reimagining of the late-'90s shooter, will be released Sept. 26 on Windows PC, publisher Devolver Digital announced recently in a new "You've Got Wang" trailer.

The reboot will be available on Steam, the Humble Store, GOG and Get Games. A representative for Devolver Digital told Polygon that a price hasn't been set yet.

But yea, good to know it'll be on GOG on day 1. From the preview videos the game actually looks pretty good. :)

I'm going to guess the Humble Store will be the best deal as usual.
You usually get the DRM-Free version and a Steam key, which is nice.
The gameplay vids look interesting, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yes I know, but it seems like every time an old topic gets bumped with new news someone still ends up making a separate new topic about it. So I was just getting that part out of the way :P

I'm glad to have the GOG release confirmed also. If nothing else comes out around the time this will probably be a day 1 for me. The only possible negative so far is the levels being more linear than the classic, but if everything else is good that is a minor concern.
