This weekend we have a special offering for all strategy games fans. In this [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/strategy_first_games]special pack from Strategy Games you'll find a full spectrum of what the strategy genre offers - from the fantasy-themed, with RPG elements, Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold, through turn-based tactical combat in Jagged Alliance and Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games, to managerial approach in Port Royale 2. Now you can grab each of those games 50% off (that's only $4.99 each), no matter if you buy all of them or just selected ones. Armchair generals, now it's your turn.
Great Promo!

Nice, varied selection and 50% no matter how many you buy. Hard to not like this one ...
Indeed a nice promo. I prefer smaller and themed promos than big publisher. I'm only missing Disciples, but I know there are some problems with Win7. Any chance for a fix in the near future, gog?

Yeah, thanks but no thanks.
Jagged Alliance should be more in the $1.99 range really, if it was JA2 for $4.99 I would've been excited.
I consider this pretty ho-hum
this week's promo isn't all that hot

I already own 2 games and im really not interested in port Royale 2 and to be fair
5 bucks for JA: DG still seems a bit too much, also considering the fact that I'm not that interested in the multiplayer aspect

Looks like I'll pass this weekend

oh well, more time to spend with Tropico reloaded that I got this wednsday

Of course, everyone who hasn't picked up the first JA and Disciples should do so right now :)

Might finally grab Jagged Alliance... thanks GOG.
it's an interesting promo exactly because it consists mostly of second choices, which is nice if you picked up the first choice (i.e. Disciples II, JA2, Port Royale 1) and are interested in trying the alternative now, for a change or for collecting. I'd never buy these full price because to me, the alternatives are superior, but I might consider getting them now.
Thanks but no thanks here got the ones i wanted and not too bothered about original disciples or Jagged Alliance.

Port Royale 1 is better than Port Royale 2? Care to elaborate? (never played PR1, just PR2)

Nah, not really, but not worse either, just different but not different enough to buy both, usually, and what I read here made me prefer 1 over 2:

Thanks, very helpful indeed!
nice promo but not good for me. I'll pass :)
WOW! If I can grab each game at fifty dollars off, minus 4.99, that means GOG will be giving us 45$ back per game! Multiply that by four if you don't have any and that's 180$ you get back! Best offer EVAAAAARRRRR!!!!

Amazing what one tiny $ symbol instead of a % can do. :D
