I noticed a few demos and some games around at the moment putting this crap on our computers this will take care of it in seconds.

Also I wasn't aware of that even demos install securom which is horrible.

The reasoning behind it is so that people can't use the demo as a base to more easily crack the full game. Still sucks of course.
