Hi everybody
Have you ever watched a TV Show or a Movie or some other Etertainment again, and the second tiem around it was much better?

I have two examples:

Buffy/Angel
I never really saw it back in the days. It was just something that was on TV in the background, me being desinterested in it because it felt like a cheap TV show for girls.

Much later I gave it an honest try, because i heard so many good stuff about it, saw it frequently on best TV shows lists, and fetl a bit like i was just judging a book from the cover.

Man was i wrong before. I mean i wasnt SO wrong, it still looked cheap, and many female charakters and love stories indicate that it is still somewhat aimed at women. But was i wrong about what the quality of the show. It has witty writing, great storylines, charakters with depth, themes to the plot that have real meaning, The dialogue is so funny, there are so many good ideas. It is an honestly good TV show, and i can see why its ranked among the best.

Spartacus
Another show that i didnt really pay attention to. The reason this time was that it just looked stupid.

What i say now is based on me recent watching the first episode.
It still is stupid.
But i like the main Character, he is so honest. He just wants to live his life and do the right things. They did such a good job with the character that i didnt care how cliche everything is. The character makes me care about the things happening to him.
Also the fights are stupid too. Didnt like them. But then came the final fight of the first episode. And it hat drama behind it, and was good choreographed. It was awesome.

I ordered the blurays now and hope the rest of the series delivers too a cool main protagonist and cool fights.
Also is really sad that the first actor is dead.He has charisma and i am sure i would have had a nice acting career. I hope the second actor delivers too, i read that the first actor personally gave him his "ok".

Metal Gear Solid 3

It was the first MGS game I played and my first stealth game, not counting bad stealth sections in other games. I didn't get it. Played it for 45 min and quit. Did the same thing maybe a year later. The third time I played it I finally got it. It's a prequel so you don't have that fancy radar telling you where all the enemies are at all times, it had a top down camera too so you couldn't simply see them either. You had to stop and go into first person mode, calmly observe your surroundings, then make your move. Once I got the rhythm of the game I finished the whole thing in a weekend, then played every other one in the series. And now I'm a MGS fan and a stealth fan in general.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

I didn't like this show. Can't even remember why. But one weekend Nickelodeon had a marathon of the second season and with nothing better to do I watched it. By the end of that weekend I was a fan.
