Hmm not quite my preferred genre but I have always been tempted by everything I hear about the Freespace games...though the lack of a dedicated joystick means I'll have to mull this one over.

Grab Freespace 2, you don't need a joystick and the amount of content you get (with mods) is fantastic.

The games do not support joystick? How do you control your ships in these games then? Only keyboard? Sounds horrific.

They do support joysticks. However FreeSpace 2 has a mouse control scheme as well.

Not a genre that interests me very much, but still a good idea for a promo. Might as well get Descent 1+2, since I at least remember playing those games a fair amount back in the day...

Oh, no... Freespace 2 at that price ! Gog, are you crazy, this is just criminal. This game is worth much, much more ! Especially when you know that there are several fan-made campaigns of professionnal quality just waiting to be installed with the new open-source game engine...

Nice promo although already have Des 3 and freespace 1 & 2. Not to bothered about Des 1 & 2 still great games and a steal at this price.
