My boyfriend and I just bought and downloaded two copies of EMpire Earth 3 from CoG.com and we are unable to LAN play because it says "CD key already in use" any help?

You'll have to contact support about that.

Select the game from there. In the lower right there's a "I can't find a solution" option. Choose that and fill in the form.

Like Navagon said, the game comes with a generic key and you need to contact support to get a key that actually works. Here is the link for multiplayer key requests:
