Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me how to save in Zork Anthology please? I can't figure out how to do that on my PC :-(
I think entering the direct commands "save" and "restore" do the trick for the text-based Infocom games.
It tells me to save to a "save disk" but I'm not sure how that relates to modern day computers.

I'm guessing it meant actual floppy disks back in the day.

I played Zork back in the 90s but that would have been when we still had floppy disks and I don't really remember saving.
You type the command "save"

A prompt will say to insert the save disk and then name it.

You don't have to insert anything just name the save to whatever you want.

It will say "Ok"

To load type "restore" It'll ask you to insert save disk and then to type the name.

Simply type the name of the save file

It will say "Ok"

edit:Hmm... on second thought, I need to experiment with this a little. I was able to successfully save and load but now I can't load my first save.
edit2: no, that seems to be correct. Maybe I mistyped that time.

Woohoo! it works. I thought I had to type in a file path or something which is why it wasn't working :)

Thanks!
