This has already been posted on other threads (I'd assume), but I thought I'd just give a heads up that Satellite Reign, made by the creator of Syndicate Wars, is most of the way funded with 15 days to go. I'm glad to see they're already targeting GOG with a DRM free version (also Steam).

I don't expect it to be anything like Syndicate, but I'm just glad to see it coming here.

Seeing this kickstarter makes me feel guilty for not scoring Syndicate sooner. It's one of the few games I haven't scored the past number of months, and it's been on sale TWICE ;O

I have been following this and honestly I'm a bit worried. The campaign had a very promising start, but In the last 7 days they only got around 20k pounds.

Oh, I'm not too worried about the campaign reaching the funding goal. Many projects pet bumped hard in the final days, and even hours before the time limit expires, but what does sadden me somewhat is that if they indeed reach the goal, it probably won't go much higher than that.

Yeah i think since its in pounds its hurting them. shame really, awesome concept

Thanks for sharing this here JinseiNGC224, I was not aware of such a game. Seems great and gives hope as for the future of pc gaming (discovered great games on Kickstarters, things like Project Eternity, Armikrog or Planescape: Tines of Numera).

Good news. Six days to go, and Satellite Reign has jumped up to 88%. It's looking pretty good!

It's the official sequel.

I actually had a bigger experience with it than the original. It just had a bigger appeal to me and I really enjoyed the graphics better (even though everybody and their kitchen sink think Wars looks worse because of its early 3D graphics).

I need to score the original and the sequel then, not that I would've left one or the other out anyway.

I'll have to wait for the next sale. I know I missed it before. It was I think one of the few games I didn't score one weekend promo sale a number of months ago. I'm thoroughly regretting it :( ... But I'll have them eventually!
