Samurai Pizza Cat's!
In Japan it is Kyatto Ninden Teyandee
Teyandee!
Will somebody cue that bird?
Samurai Pizza Cats game on NES was really awesome!
Such a good show! LOVED it. Almost like the Japanese version of TMNT.

a forgotten anime gem.
Haha, one of the best non-sense anime of my childhood!! ^_^
Did you know there is a fansite? i have a profile on it.

My profile on it (Yay!): http://www.edoropolis.org/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=9128
I have to say, it's awesome.
As soon as we find the script, we might begin the show!

I think I watched that a few times. It was imported to Fox Kids by Saban, wasn't it? I remember watching it early morning on weekdays, after Mutant League and Mighty Max. I miss Mutant League...

Really?
I thought the non-sense came from the fact that the US distributor didn't have any scripts for the episodes so they just made the stories up.
I honestly never liked this show

there are much better cartoons from that time period anyway

nah, it was ok but nothing special, a typical licensed game

most of the times it just felt like a poor strider ripoff and the entire time I was thinking to myself: "why am I not playing strider" (a much better game) instead?

that would make a lot of sense! If anything, that makes it more awesome though.
And on the other hand, I've seen quite a lot of Japanese shows that don't make much sense to begin with :P
I love the show. A staple in my mid 90's tv watching schedule, haha.

Seriously why hasn't it been released on DVD or something.
