I'm in, thanks Licurg.

As for sacrifices, you can sacrifice minions at altars in Overlord, to regain health and mana or in your forge to create weapon upgrades. In the latter case even hundreds of them!

--EDIT--

Gah, ninjad by triock ;-)
Here's another rare one: In the RTS Against Rome, you can sacrifice citizens at the Place of Sacrifice building to get magic points. Muahaha, evil savage tribes overrunning Rome. All in all mediocre, though.

Starcraft, with the suicidal attacks of the Zerg Scourge and the Zerg Infested Terran.
In Broken Sword: The Angel of Death (WARNING: SPOILER FOR THE END OF THE GAME) the group of power hungry Vatican priests try to sacrifice Nico in order to activate the ark, luckily for her George and Anna Maria came for her rescue.
The God of War games have some sacrifices in them. In the first one there is a part where you have to sacrifice a man by bringing him to a room and burning him. In the second one there are two translators who, after translating a text saying they must be sacrificed, are killed so that their blood may awaken the phoenix. I believe there are some more sacrifices, but I can't think of them right off the top of my head.

Thanks for the giveaway, and please count me in for IAmSInistar, if that is all right.
Dungeon Keeper; but don't sacrifice the chickens. http://dungeonkeeper.wikia.com/wiki/Temple
Heroes of Might and Magic 3, there is both an alter of sacrifice and a sacrifice spell

In for gibbeynator, thanks
Chess of course. But in case that doesn't then in World of Warcraft when playing a warlock you can sacrifice your voidwalkers health to shield yourself.

Thanks for the giveaway.
Spelunky: Sacrifice your damsel to Kali for extra items, or any other person/yeti in the game :D
Powermonger of course, where the sheep are sacrificed to feed a starving army.

Thanks for the giveaway

I was wondering when someone will mention that, that's where I got the title from :P
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (on the DS).

You can sacrifice teammates to transfer their skill to the main character. How many times you sacrifice will affect which ending path you end up on.

I'll sacrifice this entry to te_lanus.

Thanks for the giveaway, Licurg!
In for IamSinistar

For the question:
HOMM III: There's a 5th level Fire spell, where you sacrifice troops in order to resurrect others.
And I guess Sacrifice has something to do with sacrificing?
Not in, but thanks Licurg!

Sacrifices? What about Lemmings?
Didn't Fable allow you to sacrifice people to become more evil?

And could the RTS genre as a whole work since you're typically sacrificing lives or machines to achieve victory? Not sure if you're specifically thinking sacrifice like, a ritual sacrifice or just sacrificing in general.

Definitely have to enter this, as you always talk this game up so much.
