Hi guys, I would like to know if there are any servers still up for Sacred, and if I can play it with my brother through LAN or my house's local network without any issues, I'm asking such a silly question because I read on internet there some issue when it comes to play in local networks with this game, things like both players connect but they can't see themselves or something like that, if there is no such problem then I'll buy the game for me and my brother as a gift, we loved it when we where kids, haha even my dad beat it. :)

haha I just found this: Multiplayer notice: Sacred's multiplayer servers (Internet) are no longer functioning, therefore multiplayer is only possible over a local area network (physical or emulated).

But my question about troubles when playing on local area networks is still up? anyone has been able to play without this issues?

The online servers are no more but you can play online via VPN like Hamachi, Tunngle (this I recommend) etc..

You can play via physical LAN without a VPN as well. If I recall right to be able to see each other you need the ISDN/modem something checked.

Thank you for your quick answer, I use Hamachi to play couple games with my brother, I guess I should look into that ( the ISDN/Modem thing).
