Any chance we might see this on GOG sometime in the future?

Probably. It is 20 dollars though, so there will probably be wailing and gnashing of teeth in the release thread. (I more or less feel "eh" about GOG releasing 10< dollar games, but I prefer they space out those more expensive releases. We just got a $25 game.)

We haven't had an old game release at anything but $6 or $10 yet, to me knowledge. Also no word on this game. So I don't know why you say "probably."

We already have Sacred Gold here, so continuing the series seems inevitable to me.

Unlikely actually, given that the rights are split up over regions. GOG would need to negotiate with several different rights holders. Deep Silver for current US/EU digital distribution, Spike for Japan and yet another company for Russia -- if those rights holders have the current digital distribution rights as those were handled by CDV Software who may or may not still have the rights. This is why the game is not available on Steam in all regions any more.

GOG's available everywhere policy keeps a LOT of games from coming out here. Though judging by the demographics of the forum GOG are probably right to insist on it.

True but it has a few advantages as well. The new combo system is more refined to be honest, before if you added 4 Combat Arts like Hard Hit in one combo the regeneration time would be at least a few minutes and you would have to pop way too many yellow potions. Both games suffers from some annoying balance issues too. If you know how to build a character both games are a cake walk. Then again, I've never played games such as these that can be so easy yet challenging at the same time. Most games are either or sadly enough.

I was hoping for Steam to have a 75% off on their Gold Edition but they 'only' had 50% so I skipped it. I hope it arrives here too but I suspect that it it'll take a while.
