Well if its just political marriages rather than specific royalty then you could include Pirates as well, nothing gets you in good with the spanish like snogging the governors daughter. Odd folk the spaniards...

Vagueism: Yep, it's a strange addiction :) Tradegoods with built-in drama, if you will.

Reminds me of Elite when you get the offer to transport Trumbles...

The Guild - not quite royal, but you can marry into the aristocracy.

michaelleung: No, but there was this ONE time he talked.

LOFL!
Crusader Kings by Paradox dives the deepest in to intertwined royal dynasties and the like more than any other game that I've ever played.
Princess Maker 2, developed by Gainax, was completely translated into English, but ran into problems with the distribution company. He released it for free since then.
The daughter can marry just about every character in the game....including her father.

Yes, definitely. My favorite game from Paradox, BTW, and one of my all-time favorites. Fantastic game (with the Deus Vult expansion, of course).

Wolfox: Some of the Paradox titles have that - Europa Universalis III: Heir to the Throne, Crusader Kings, possibly Victoria. King Arthur has marriages, but I'm not sure if they are the royal, diplomatic kind. And, as someone mentioned before, the Total War games have that (some of them, at least - Medieval for sure).

Crusader Kings sure has. It is one of the main feature of the game, given it focuses on dynasties and not on countries.
EU : HTTT have them, but with no level of detail whatsoever. You just link the Royal Family of your country with another Royal Family in one click. Boring.
Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (awful) scenario starts with a (love) mariage being crashed by some demonic dude.
King's Bounty has mariage as well, and funny one. You can marry a zombie, a frog-turned-princess, some succubus, a piratess or a (female ?) dwarf.
I married the succubus :)

I married the succubus :)

I started with frog-princess, before trading up for the succubus. :)

ah yes, marry for power and money. The guild basically has royal marriages minus all that pesky romance. But I suppose that's not what you're looking for =D
Not on GOG, but Puzzle Quest has one---you choose whether to make the princess go through with her arranged marriage or not.
I already have Rome: TW, bought it at a flea market, but never installed it before. It's quite nice actually, I like it better than CIV4. And I can autoresolve battles!
Ordered Crusader Kings - though Paradox' strategy games give me headache. :O
It sounds exactly like what I'm looking for.
The Guild looks interesting too.
Thanks for the help everyone!

Make sure you also get the Deus Vult expansion. It improves the game considerably.
