River city ransom and the Japanese counterparts for example downtown nekketsu monogatari have always been some of my favorite games on home consoles back in the NES era too bad the Japanese sequels are staying in Japan and not brought over here so it is quite nice to see them revive river city ransom, hopefully they will manage to reach the kickstarter goal and deliver us a great game.

This looks awesome. Not sure if I can afford to back it though. But, with 3 days, they should be able to pull it off. I think they'll try again if they fail at this point, seeing as they're only a few grand away at this stage.

I wouldn't worry too much. 3 more days and about 10,000 CAD to go. Seems feasible enough,

Hmmm... less than 3.2k to go, and not a whole day has passed since Nergal01 said they were missing 10k. I think we'll have nothing to worry about.

Their KS page states the game will be DRM-free. All the more reason to give them support.

Well, they're in the safe zone now. 182k and 68 hours to go. Mac and Linux versions could still happen.

Seeing as how several kickstarters have had issues with running out of money before they can get the product shipped, I hope just hitting the goal will be enough for them to finish the game.

When I asked the creative team behind the game, Conatus Creative, about it being available on GOG, they responded:

"Yes, we've reached out to GOG already, when we get closer we'll be getting the conversation going again. We love GOG."
