I was wondering if anyone else checks out reviews for games they've already gotten, to see if anyone has anything else to say about the games?
And of course, do you check the reviews before you buy the game?
Personally, I like sharing my thoughts about the games I get, and I think it's a good way to give a fair say back about the games GOG has let us get, to warn people about a game they might not find to their liking or get others to buy a diamond in the rough.

sometimes, when i buy a game out of Impulse, i do some kind of Review to my purchase, just to look what others have to say

i tend not to check out reviews for games i already own. once i own a game, and play it, anyone else's opinion is mostly moot.
i read a lot of reviews before buying games in general, tho.
if you are speaking specifically of the reviews here on GOG, then no, not yet. (i already have opinions of the games for sale here.)

I usually don't bother to read reviews of game or if I do read they don't have any effect on wether I buy or not unless theres 100 of 102 reviews are 100% negative... that usually gives impression that the game obviously has lot of things wrong...

when i read game reviews, i'm usually not looking for whether or not the writer thinks the game is good or bad, i'm looking for their description of how the game works and plays. from that i figure out if its something i'd enjoy playing or not.
one of the sadder days of my childhood was when CGW started to use scores in their game reviews.
