So i went back to an early state , loaded up A New Beginning (from the makers of The Whispered World) to find all my savegames are gone.
Didn't know it could do that.

Dropbox and symlinks. Your savegames will last forever. There's a guide thing for it on PCGamingWiki. It's kinda hard to follow because I wrote it and I suck at writing instructions.

Luckily i found savegames for this particular game on a website.
Was just surprised because it was the first time ever happening to me.

Also a warning to others if it might also be the case for other daedalic games like the whispered world.
