I got this to work on Win 7 (more out of curiosity than a desire to play), I seem to remember enjoying it, but tbh, I dont remember a whole lot about it. I remember liking the voice acting and i remember a giant spider and an island and being pulled apart by a giant lobster type of enemy, but thats all.

Should I bother with it again, or just bin it?

It's a very good game imho. With very good combat system.

I voted years ago. Didn't help :-(

But since squeenix is on board, my hopes are stronger :P

I still have the original CD version, so don't trash it ;) I asked, almost begged, the GOG guys to bring this too the site. If memory serves me well I believe Eidos was the original publisher, so I hope that's not a problem. A year or so back I got was able to get this working on Vista 64 bit, I haven't tried with Windows 7 just yet.

There's a Mac version as well!

It works fine on win 7, but you will need the 1.22 patch and to edit a couple of lines in the ini .
