Since Mechwarrior 4 has been released for free and has active techsupport from mektek.net I've been enjoying it very much, but after recently finding the demo for MW3 and finding how much deeper and a better game it is I've been trying to get it working on my modern win7 machine and all that without any luck.


If GOG.com did Mechwarrior 3 (and possibly the older games) I and a whole lot of other people would be in their debt, This is an amazing series of games that people don't get to experience anymore. Whether it's the deep background story roots or frantic but pinpoint accurate combat. They simply don't make em like these anymore.

Hah. Indeed, I found the wishlist after making this topic (Didn't find it at first) and I was quite disappointed at it's low numbers. Still, put my vote and comment on.

And a little publicity for such a sleeper hit doesn't hurt. Why some games like System shock 2 is on that list boggles my mind when it has so much fan support to get it working on modern systems flawlessly. While Mechwarrior 3 has none.

One game I wish to be here is Medal of Honor Allied Assualt and Frontline
