Please redo the installation package of BG I and II and remove DDRAWFIX from there. It's damaging to some installations.

And it has nothing to do with the original installation. I don't know who came with this buggy fix. It works for some graphics card. Why did you include it in supposedly clean installation of BG I and II?

Thank you,
Vlad.

Forums are for community interaction. They are not moderated are there is no warranty that your request will be even seen by GOG employees.

You might want to contact support or perhaps look for an official (blue) thread and send a private message to a GOG employee (the ones in blue).
If it is really a problem for some graphic cards and good for others it would be a good solution if this was just offered as a seperate patch so that everyone can use it if needed :-)
As GOG frequently works with games that no longer run on modern systems, they will often do their best to get the game running on the majority of platforms that they can. Thus the installations are not always "clean", "pure", or unaltered. It's a tradeoff, since a large portion of their customers are likely not as technically inclined as you seem to be. Basically, they want the games playable by as many people as possible even if that means modifying it slightly so that it will actually run.

I am not aware of the specifics in this particular case, but if it truly adds nothing for anyone then feel free to contact a Blue and pm them, or contact Support and drop them a line.

As people have said, write to support. The blues who mod the forum will tell you the same. (They don't build installers, and I don't think they can create personal support tickets for users.) Use Contact Us - Technical issues With Games - [game] - "I can't find solution [sic] for my problem", or just use these links:

Thanks. Done.
