Can mods PLEASE finally do something about Rep Abuse, this is absolutely ridiculous

I'm not the only and first person to complain about this and if this continues, I think I will not be the last

There has been multiple instances of where people were targeted and downrepped by abusing the system of downreps

And what a surprise, who better to target than "Mean Old Roman"

Since I am fast, I managed to get the first post in that thread, saying how sexy I am

Now, Granted, I understand why people MAY have downrepped me there, my post was nothing more than a simple "FIRST" post without anything informative, fair enough

An actual informative post where I was asking about what is going to happen with the first Wizardry games and when they are going to appear on GOG but what a surprise, that post was downvoted as well. If this doesn't prove how broken this rep system is, I don't know what else people have to give in proof

No, I won't point my finger. Actually I noticed as well that someone seems to be targeting you. Entirely normal posts (or even beautiful ones in the case where you posted a song) getting downrepped. You must have pissed of some very vengeful people who are now on a crusade against you. Like they were against tinyE a while ago. It is childish, really, but perhaps you should just sit it out. That game of 'let's downrep the victim of the month' will get boring at some point and then they, whoever they are, will stop. It's not as if you can buy anything with your rep points and you have a large reputation buffer, so there is no chance that you will fall below the 'giveaway entry' restrictions.

Some people just care for no real reason. They may like those things :D

It is not the rep, it's the principle. Roman did nothing to upset anyone or hurt their feelings.

Yes. The - button is an easy, anonymous way of bullying someone for those that are too cowardly to speak up. "Oh, there's a thread by XY. Lets minus it. That will show him!" ... Many people don't care about this meaningless form of bullying. Others, like Roman or tinyE do and even if I don't care about my rep, I can understand that they are disturbed by this form of daily, anonymous 'I don't like you' messages.
