...and there are no entrants yet! :(

I know you're simply all working so hard on your paper photography skills that you simply haven't had the time to post the results and were going to do it first thing tomorrow, but I just wanted to pop in and remind you that there isn't much time left and there are prizes to be won... And, at least so far, there is no one to claim them!

You can read more about it here, but in short, you have to do 2 things:

1. Create a setting like the ones in Lumino City out of paper and light.
2. Capture it on image or video and post it under the release post, as per the rules.

What can you get? Swag bags from State of Play (for the best image and video entry respectively) and $10 to use on games off our site (for the winners and 2 runners-up in each category). SIX prizes.

Head over to the contest thread and post your entries before 5PM GMT on Monday and get yourself some prizes!
Cmon, GOGers! :)
How come I just found out about this ? :/

Anyways, not in as I'm not the artistic type, but nice of GOG to do these things .

Licurg: I'm not the artistic type.
Neither am I, and I made this so it can't be too difficult! ;) C'mon, give it a try, you'll stick your fingers together, firemen will melt them apart with a flamethrower, we'll all share a laugh, all will be well!

Yeah, that would take me a few days to make :P Besides, I don't have anything to take a picture with, since the cam on my phone is broken, and i haven't fixed it yet .

Of course that's not necessarily a reason why there's no entrants so far buuuut:
1. During the sales (I mean big ones like the Autumn and Winter sales) it's really hard to keep track of announcements. I usually open the GOG frontpage several times a day but when I have to scroll down specifically to see announcements I simply miss the majority of them. The first input I get is "nothing new" and I continue to the community tab. I just noticed that I have missed a whole bunch of releases/announcements over the last weeks.
2. The contest didn't have enough exposure. I think it should be mentioned in the thread title and maybe even some reference to it included in the banner in the release announcement. I think not even all people interested in the game read the release thread carefully enough to notice the contest.

Don't mean to be a smart ass but since you even posted this reminder for the contest I thought that I could share my two cents. :p
Yeah, I'm just gonna say I didn't know there was a contest either. Combine that with being an engineering student who's in a blind panic trying to take care of reports and exams and finals and fluff all.
Interesting! I just found out about this too. I'm not an artist either but I'll try to come up with something this weekend.
There is a Stream at GOG Twitch at the moment, might want to promote the contest on the chat.
Lume is gorgeous, Lumino City must be even cooler.
If only I had the proper time... and skills... :P

Another reason for the lack of entrants might be the short deadline. I'm actually interested in papercraft and would probably have participated, had there been more time. And less work. Mainly the latter.
bumpo
I too am just learning of this now. For those who are participating, it might be worth watching this:

From Paper to Play: How they made Lumino City - Teaser
I just learned about this now, too. Not that I care, as I ignore all these contests, but I'd say it's pretty bad if a GOG regular like me didn't know the contest even existed. Was there even a forum post about it?
Thanks, Ciris - I'd completely missed that announcement. I have an idea for an entry - let's see if I manage to finish it over the weekend.
