bought this one on a newspaper stand for 5 bucks back in 1997
no regrets about buying it once more! :P
GOG, please also add the original DOS version as a bonus in the future. That would be awesome!

Tolya: XP support is something that the devs have to resolve, it is beyond our capabilities.

And no, it is not related to DirectX.
XP is more than outdated. Those who still use it should move on, end of story. XP and directX 9 have been holding game developpement for 10 years. Worse than any console. Forget it already !
For those of you that want GOG to keep supporting XP, vote here! :P

Omg, never thought I'd see the day Z would come here. More classics, please!
I second adding the DOS version if possible. It will be favored by most old school enthusiasts... and it also has multiplayer, unlike the remake.
I love this game! Thank you so much GOG...

What's the differences between this and DOS version?

Nirth: What's the differences between this and DOS version?
By the look of it, this remake has clunky controls due to being a mobile port, has worse AI than the original game, does not have the eleven levels from the expansion (although it seems to have five new levels of its own), and has no multiplayer mode.
****I just realized its only a remake. sigh.
why not the original Gog? don't want a mobile port

popperik: Sooo, how do I find this game in the search box by its title? :)
Haha that's a very valid question.. xD
Too bad it's a port of the mobile game. I think if you want a remake the ZOD engine is a better version for PC, still.
I don't know why Bitmap Brothers couldn't bring the original DOSBox'd release, but sadly this was the message I got from Kiss when I emailed them on Jun. 7, asking about the original...

"We have looked into [bringing the original DOS game], but I am afraid we have been unable to get the rights to the original source code. The game we release will be pretty darn close though."

Still, it is nice to have a version of "Z" here, and I believe Steel Soldiers will show up when it shows up on Steam.

Was checking Steam reviews of the game after it got released. It seems now that TickTockGames will try bringing back something close to the old interface in the next patch that they will make. Also they will try to give options for resolution configuration.
