Thanks for the release! Will get it on a good sale! :P
Thank you GOG for adding this great entry in the Journeyman Project series, and putting the other two games on sale.

Buried in Time is one of my all time favorites, and I have fond memories of Turbo as well. Time to stop Sinclair again!
Grabbed it, but I kinda expected it to be a bit more... modern...? for this price level.
Looking at the game and the videos. i can't help but find myself uninterested in the game. Myst, 7th guest, and other games in this sorta genre somehow don't feel like they grab any of my inspiration. Although it does look interesting, it also definitely looks dated, but not as horribly as some games are.

Maybe i lost a lot more interest in games where i don't actually control something.
Have to admit im not that big on adventures (even though i do buy the odd one or two now and then -- never really got into them or the classics while i was growing up in the 80's lol) - but i love sci fi etc (im ok with puzzles) --- any pro's and con's with this game?. Are 1+2 +3 all interconnected? (am considering buying all 3... but with a budget im wondering whether 1 first is a wise move...)

Johnmourby: Every time it looks like GOG has given up on the old games they pull something wonderful from the sands of time (with the occasional Iranian prince to boot)

This looks quite cool. I might pick it up someday.

FlamingFirewire: This is true, but they usually release a classic game every Thursday - I wonder why some people think that GOG gives up when it's only usually been a week between classic releases.
Probably because people are hoping the number of classics go up with the number of indies i guess? (even though there is a heap more indie games flooding the market) -- im more concerned with quality classic games (vs just old.....)

Parts 1 and 2 are somewhat independent of one another, but both feed into the story of part 3. GOG is discounting all 3 as part of a launch promotion until April 17.
Excellent this is one title I looked at in great detail when it originally launched and drooled over but never had a chance to play. So happy to see this finally here, and to celebrate going to pick up the trilogy!
Oh GOG.... For every mistake you make you more than make up for it with surprises like this. Instant purchase!
Glad that the completed series is now available. Wishlisted for now and hoping this will be a Linux supported title later this year.

It's not that much like myst or 7th guest, much stronger story and engaging gameplay than either of those. You actually have a character unlike myst, seeing yourself in the mirror in the beginning of the game. The puzzles are less arbitrary than a lot of adventure games in this first person category.

The first game is incredibly dated interface wise, with some annoying transitions and movie clips you have to watch and cannot skip - but I'm finding the story and time travel as cool as I remember it. I would suggest to start with part 2 and get 1 if you are interested to go back to the roots.
Looks nice, but I wonder how they decide to price this 1997 game at $9.99, not $5.99.
Ignoring the possibility the seller is making stuff up, the problem would be to do with 64-bit versions of operating systems, not which generation it is. Windows 3.1 programs are 16-bit and 16-bit programs 100% do not work on 64-bit operating systems.

Its a remastered edition and as others have pointed out, quite a bit of effort was put into getting it done.
Cool! Wishlisted for now - but it will be nice to complete my JP collection ;-)
