Srice n' shoot!

Shadow Warrior Complete, the legendary over-the-top FPS starring Lo Wang, the ultimate Asian badass, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99!

There is the way of the sword, the way of the fist, the way of the sub-machine gun, and the way of the sticky bomb. But there's also the way of Lo Wang, that combines them all. It also adds a bit from the path of ass-kicking and gets much inspiration from the driveway of dukedom. To define the way of Lo Wang in layman's terms, it's a Fu Manchu Kung Pao tao ninja tofu Beijing kung fu teriyaki Tokyo ramen kawaii Gangnam hentai sushi katana usagi shuriken miso samurai fighting style, but it differs from the traditional Fu Manchu Kung Pao tao ninja tofu Beijing kung fu teriyaki Tokyo ramen kawaii Gangnam hentai sushi katana usagi shuriken miso samurai fighting style in that it embraces the gift of rail-gun.

Shadow Warrior Complete feels like a mix of Duke Nukem 3D with every bad kung fu movie ever made. Lo Wang is just as much outspoken as the Duke, and the humor here is even more tongue-in-cheek. The game is brutal and bloody, maybe even more than Duke's adventures, thanks to the use of katanas. The story of revenge over the Zilla Corporation takes us through 22 creative maps crafted in 3D Realms' updated Build engine. The Twin Dragon expansion adds another 13 levels and the elusive Wanton Destruction map-pack brings in 12 further arenas of mayhem. You get all that, and a soundtrack, in our Shadow Warrior Complete pack!

Are you ready for some badassery, blood, guts, and racial stereotypes? In other words: who wants some Lo Wang? Grab Shadow Warrior Complete, for only $5.99!

Floydinizer: Blood
Duke Nukem 3D
Shadow Warrior

Are there any other important Build Engine games GOG should have?
avatar
F4LL0UT: You forgot about Redneck Rampage which already is on GOG.
ARGH how could I forget.
With redneck Rampage included, these would have to be the most badass games GOG has to offer.

SCPM: Powerslave and Nam? Or if you want to go too far, Extreme Paintbrawl, Tek-War, and the Witchaven games.
avatar
Floydinizer: Oh yeah, never played those two, but I've read alot about Powerslave.

ReynardFox: William Shatner's TekWar. :B

Floydinizer: Had to google that one. Is it... good?
I actually liked it, but I know a lot of people were not fans.
So glad to see more 3D Realms games getting released. I grew up in a family where Quake and DOOM existed, but were greatly frowned upon, and therefore I could only play them while at other friends or family members homes.

So, I never got the chance to play this Gem. Now I can, and that is awesome. So thank you GOG. :)

Also, Is there any chance at all that we will get the original Apogee games, like BioMenace, or even Crystal Caves / Secret Agent Sam, or other games from that Era? Commander Keen?
I've never played this but it looks great. I'll be buying it shortly.
PowerSlave (we actually know it as Exhumed on this side of the Atlantic) was actually the weakest of the Build Engine games, and ironically, the PS1 version was far, far superior to the PC one.

I still have Exhumed on disc, actually.
Fantastic release, thanks.

I never forget the bees in this games. Hearing they are close to me made me crazy, I needed to stop playing and never finished the game. Personally I believe NAM is the weakest build-engine game.

OMG! Shadow Warrior! Another lovely Build Engine game! I really want to buy this but I can't right now awwwwwww. :(
Sweet, this an unexpected treat. Thanks!

You may be right, although I've never played NAM. That being said, some of the graphics in those screenshots have been ripped straight out of DN3D, which is never a good sign.

Played it years ago and not knowing it was a full-price game I would guess it's only a decent mod - it has no atmosphere, no soul and bad graphics (which means it feels like copy/paste without really spending time for details). From that list I see there was also something with a ww2 theme, that's new to me.

Gonna wait and see what the weekend promo is, may pick this up then. Nice release.
Does this work with the new build-engine ports like Duke3d does at all? I wonder if there's a high-res texture/model pack for it, too... This game has the 2nd best level design in an FPS to me, after only Duke3d.
