Eschalon: Book III brings the trilogy to a climactic end as you seek to uncover the mystery of your past, the secrets of the Crux stones, and who the Orakur really are. You’ll traverse miles of virtual wilderness and dungeons, filled with secrets and danger, in an unparalleled role-playing experience designed to feel like a true pen-and-paper RPG. Book III is not a dumbed-down “RPG for the masses”. Rapid button clicking won’t save you here. Eschalon pays honor to the greatest RPGs of the past, with unlimited character development options and freedom to explore the world as you wish. The difficulty of the game does not scale to your character.

Enter the vast and rich world of Eschalon: Book III, for only $17.99 on GOG.com. The 10% off special release discount offer lasts until Friday, February 21, at 10:59AM GMT.
Wishlisted. I have yet to play the first two, which have been sitting in my backlog since last summer, before I even contemplate buying this one.
Wishlisted ;)
Hahah
Excellent to see this here. I had such a blast with when I discovered this series, caught me by surprise. I wish Book III great success~
I'm behind (still playing Book I, got it last summer in the GOG bundle), but I'm tempted to get this now anyway as a show of support for releasing new games DRM free on GOG.
Finally it's here :D
I definitely want this one, but it'll have to wait till I have more funds :) Wishlisted!
As of now, Basilisk's site has been hit pretty hard by the traffic generated from the game's release; combined with some monumental screw-ups with GoDaddy, this has led to their site being offline for a while.

They've made some amusing remarks like warnings about how "hardcore" this game is; I'll be interested to read the reviews concerning how difficult the gameplay actually is.

Oh well, off I go to finally finish Book I and II...
Well, I enjoyed the first 2 Eschalon games a lot, so the third is an instabuy for me.

I almost missed it though, the sale certainly didn't do it any favors in terms of visibility on GOG. The only reason I saw it was that I was aware it would come out around this time, and looked for it on the site.

Crosmando: Awesome

I assume this game does the "you lost your memories" trick again to explain why you start at level 1...
A slip & fall in the tub and you hit your head. :P
Wishlisted for now. Haven't finished the second one yet, so I'm holding off on this one until then. My backlog is already threatening to bury me alive. Will definitely pick this up in a bit though!

No, that's how you create a flux capacitor. Pfft, everybody knows that! :P Doc Brown was lying about the toilet so no one else could steal his invention.

On a serious note I want this game, but I think I'll hold off til a sale due to a constricted financial situation currently. It does look awesome though.

It seems the 'hopeful' non-review has been removed. :-)
