Grow stronger turn, by turn.

Eador: Genesis, an impressive turn-based strategy with RPG elements, that sends you on a quest to conquer a shattered realm, is now available on GOG.com, for only $4.79! That's 20% off, this week only!

The world is no longer whole. All that remains are the islands of existence drifting aimlessly through the endless ocean of emptiness and oblivion. This broken realm houses many aspiring despots, hell-bent on uniting the floating shards of land under their own rule. There was, however, no single monarch who could achieve that feat since the time of the cataclysm. That won't stop you from trying, of course. Is it because you're even more hungry for power and wealth then your opponents? Or maybe you see a higher purpose in domination over Eador? Maybe you believe, that the world united under the rule of one strong leader will finally begin to heal? As one of the Masters, you're free to exercise your will however you see fit. But know this: history will judge you.

Eador: Genesis delivers a turn-based strategy experience inspired by the classics of the genre. It's a multi-layered game, equally stressing the importance of your kingdom's development and management, and your tactical battlefield abilities. There's also a strongly accented RPG element, that goes so well with the imaginatively crafted fantasy setting of the game. With over 170 structures to build, 80 magic spells to master, and 70 kinds of units to lead into the battle, each with its own goals and defining characteristic--this title will keep you busy for many long evenings.

Looking for a well-polished turn-based strategy game that's immersive, enthralling, and deep? Get Eador: Genesis, for only $4.79! That's 20% off until the promo ends on Tuesday, December 11, at 10:59AM GMT.

towerbooks3192: Please tell me this is real and in-game and not a seperate map editor. Still pondering if I should get it or not and its pretty tempting. I think I need something along the lines of HoMM but something a bit different and unique
Here.

wait that's not Duke Nukem
What is it with Russians and fantasy TBS anyways, HoMM3 has a huge Russian fanbase/modding community also

towerbooks3192: And my usual question

Replayability and Random Map generator? Is it like HoMM?
avatar
JudasIscariot: No random map generator but there's so much content in the game that you may not need a map generator.

It's HoMM...on steroids and Mentats.
Look interesting, but it's missing the overall flash and appeal of the HoMM games. However, I might pick this one up on the X-mas sale.
I can't remember having heard of this game before. That happens ... well, pretty much never. Looks very interesting too, so I think I'll have a look.

I knew of the forthcoming sequel though (just didn't know it was a sequel), and I've already voted for it on Greenlight.
So bought.

JuriJ: Wow, and what about at least such titles as: Silent Storm, King's Bounty, STALKER?
avatar
JMich: First time I see JuriJ posting on the forums, so let me thank you for the excellent support you're doing.
Also, 2 out of 3 games you mention are already on GOG.com, does that mean we can expect the 3rd one as well?
It's not a first time but it's true that I'm not a forum type of a person.
Thank you for appreciation. Just doing my best :).
And finally you know that I'm not allowed to tell if certain titles will be or will be not released on GOG. Let's try to keep all our releases as unexpected for you as they are for now. :)

Imper1um: Guys, the line about real-time on Polygon's article was a mistake. Masters of the Broken world is a turn-based strategy as well.
Looking forward to it. Any ETA on the release date?

No other answer was expected... but at least, one could try ;-)
This looks... Good.

JudasIscariot: Edit for editing's sake :P
:D

Elwin: Any specific questions you might have?..
What about difficulty? I'm not really into turn-based strategies, but I loved heroes of might and magic, and loved Age of Wonders (except I was incapable of playing that, because campaigns seemed too difficult to me.) See, in HOMM, you could get easy game by going with easy settings, and pretty damn difficult one by ramping it up. Can this game be played on 'easy' by an utter and complete idiot?
I like how this looks, but it probably has too much micromanagement for my liking.

How's the overall difficulty?

I'd like to know this too, asking for a friend of course.
