Thanks for sharing.
"We started a new journey for GOG: convincing a growing amount of publishers and developers that releasing a day-one title without DRM can be good for their financial health," says Rambourg."
I really hope that means we get to see some big publishers releasing their games here simultaneously with other outlets. In the end, I think the extra money they get from uneven regional pricing is not insignificant and will win the day. :(

AAA games have updates, DLC and online features that make a GOG style release out of thw question on day one. It has nothing to do with DRM, really.
Thanks ZYZKryten.

This is what I hoped the "This Week on GOG" videos where going to mention - even the emails about the "This Week on GOG" videos dont say anymore that whats in the videos.....

Oh well :(
"And so CD Projekt introduced a budget collection of back-catalogue games that maintained a high quality standard with DVD-boxes, printed manuals, language localization, and bonus content. The series became a great success."

Can someone please post links and pictures of what this series was like? I'm pretty curious now...
That was a good read. Just out of curiosity, how many readers does that site have?

I randomly came across the article while searching for something else entirely.
The sites more about the Red Bull sports sector so I doubt many gamers will know about it.

Just noticed the comment at the bottom of the article from a former pirate. how nice :)
