Ive been into the icewind dale/party based survival genre lately and i was wondering if anyone knows of any cool survival/adventure books where a random party or group of people get into adventures and have to get out of them.

Keep in mind, ive already read the drizzt stories and artemis as well so i dont want anything to do with them. Plus those stories i never considered survival anyway. It doesnt even have to be fantasy. Id like if there were a post apocalyptical thing like fallout.

Im kind of into these stories as they are fun to read about as everyone always has a ROLE that they use to help their comrades survive. One person is a fighter, ones a medic/priest, ones a scout. That sort of stuff. Any books on this would be cool.

Wouldn't the roles be overlord, planner, worker and leecher?
