2) it has to be compatible with PS3/360/PC - some headsets are only compatible with PS3/PC or 360/PC

Problem is the headphones that I normally use are getting worn out and in need of replacing, which is why I'm looking at headsets.
Just go for the Razer Megalodon.. One of the best gaming headsets.

How comfy is that one? I don't much care about anything else when I'm gaming on my XBox 360...

Extremly comfy. You can always go to a retail shop and try them. The problem with headphones/headset is that they don't feel comfy enough for everybody. That is why you need to try them first.For me - quality/money - 10/10

And if you want wireless headset: Razer Chimaera 5.1

Thanks for the input folks! I'm thinking about the SteelSeries Siberia V2 Gaming Headset for Playstation 3 (also compatible with Xbox and PC). Any thoughts on that one? So far it looks like it has some good reviews from Amazon.

Okay, I've changed my tune on the SteelSeries and instead think I'm going to go with the Sharkon X-Tatic SR Gaming Headset.
