Are you sure you have not just upgraded to Google Chrome, which has an Spell Check included with the browser?

Spell checks? Are you sure it's not your browser? Chrome (and maybe FF) do have spell checks, but I doubt GOG added them...

I'm quite sure I remember another user finding this too, a couple years ago, only to later realise it was the browser's spell checker doing its job.
