Would anyone else like GOG to release this classic game from the 1990's? I have the original CD set but find it awkward to run through 'Virtual PC' et al.
DOSbox does a fine job of running it. I was perfectly able to play it to completion using that.

That said, GOG should release it here seeing as I'm 90% sure they already have the current rights holder on board.

Right, it was an Interplay game back than, wasn't it?

Who do you think is the righter holder at the moment?

I think that the rights actually rest with Atari who bought up GT Interactive and turned them into their UK presence. But a lot of IPs from companies like GT and Mircoprose were scattered all over the place. It's hard to tell who wound up owning what.
There was one user [forgot who(m?)], who changed his avatar to a ROTH one, encouraging users to vote for ROTH in the wishlist. So, there's quite a few of us here, wishing for it.

I'm fairly certain it was Navagon. He swapped his Syndicate one for the ROTH one. That should never happen again. N-E-V-E-R.

I was thinking, either Navagon or Vagabond. This is the disadvantage of image based memory. Thanks!:)
Kikoskia has a great Let's Play video on Youtube, btw. Actually, all his videos are great, or at least the ones I watched (DOOM3 is hilarious, Resident evil is more so, Daikatana is so-so...).

^ I rather enjoyed his Daikatana series and was sad to see it cut short.

And I agree that ROTH is definitely GOG-worthy material.
Speaking of ROTH, are there any mods or sommat for it that update the control scheme to a more modern one?
I very recently found where my discs for RotH are so I'm quite pleased with that. I haven't tried it on my laptop yet but I figure I'll have to fight with it a bit (Win7 64 bit). If that doesn't work I'll check the specs and see if it'll cooperate with a P2 laptop and be good to go. :D I definitely would be quite pleased if it came to GOG.

Wasn't it a DOS release? So DosBox should do the trick. Never played the game, didn't appeal to me back then. But I would love to try it nowadays ...

edit: added an e for idiot ...

Indeed it was! I know sometimes DOSBox can act a little wonky with certain games (another game with Realm in the title: The Legacy: Realm of Terror. a very hard game I played as a kid can sometimes act up in DOSBox, even though that's the closest I've ever been to getting it to run, even on my P2 with real DOS. :P My dad worked at RadioShack and they were all about promoting the game so it was loaded on their computers and I would play it when I went into work with him growing up). I'll give it a shot though and cross my fingers. It's been a really long time since I played it so it would be nice to play it again. :D
RotH is DOS, but still ran a bit strangely in DOSbox on my WIn7x64 machine. Funny graphics, as I remember. I must have another go...
